- Musical Styles and Characteristics of Western Female Composers
- Examples of various notable western female composers along with a description of their musical styles, creative characteristics, and historical context.This section provides readings and video examples of female composers such as Clara Schumann, and/or Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, which allows students to explore the different styles of music composed by various composers.Along with readings, there are some short answer questions for students to test their knowledge of the different musical styles and eras of classical music.
